You can support the Chetek - Weyerhaeuser Scholarship Foundation through a tax-free donation. Checks can be made payable to CWSF and sent to P.O. Box 244, Chetek, WI 54728. Automatic Donation Program "A Little Bit Goes A Long Way"
The CWSF relies on alumni, individuals, businesses and fundraising activities, such as the Fishy Four Mile Run/Walk to generate funds to award these scholarships. Our newest and most exciting long-term program is an Automatic Donation Program. The Automatic Donation Program works like an auto bill pay and you can choose how much money per month to come directly out of your bank account to donate to the CWSF. Please print out the Automatic Donation Form and send it to us. You may also use PayPal to make a monthly donation.
Imagine this: If each of us agreed to donate just $5.00 per month and there were 1,000 people doing this, it would lead to $60,000 per year for the CWSF. Using our by-laws, $24,000 of this would go directly to scholarships for that year. Six thousand dollars would be available for operational and fundraising expenses and $30,000 would be invested for creating a self-sustaining endowment. Take this out over ten years and the CWSF is going to have some powerful scholarship potential for every Chetek - Weyerhaeuser graduate! The Automatic Donation Program promises to revolutionize the impact of being a graduate of Chetek -Weyerhaeuser High School.
All ongoing donations will be tabulated and individuals will be notified at the end of every year with the amount they have given and whether they have reached a threshold to post an honorarium plaque in the commons area at Chetek - Weyerhaeuser High School. The notifications for plaques will be incremental as follows: Patron, $250-$999: Builder $1000 - $2499: Founder $2500 - $9999: Benefactor $10,000 - $49,999: Major Benefactor $50,000 and greater.
